1) This is an excellent summer beer:
2) I love getting up at 3am on a weekend and cruising around city streets at 15 mph with my windows rolled down.
3) A Taylor Swift song came on the radio during my commute to work this morning. I totally rocked out to it.
That is all.

Hell or High Watermelon by 21st Amendment is another great summer beer

I see nothing wrong here.

Luckily it’s not an IPA so it might not taste terrible.

I was worried drinking and driving was your guilty pleasure

Dare we ask, what song was it, and were you drinking a Strawberry Beer at the time?

Oh, Swedes. We’ll make a hop head out of you yet.

MontegoMan concurs with TSwift guilty pleasure music.
And one of my favorite beers is a Strawberry Blonde from Ann Arbor Brewing Company. Best on draft, loses something in the bottle.

The song was Hey Stephen. I was not drinking a Strawberry Harvest Lager while driving; however, I may go download the song and drink one while listening to it at home just to say that I did something completely random and nonsensical today.

Yes, it absolutely is. My refrigerator is currently stocked Strawberry Harvest Lager, Hell or High Watermelon, Sorachi Ace, and Goose Island Sofie. All excellent summer beers.

Thank you, sir. Acceptance is a beautiful thing.

I don’t think we get that Abita around here but I’ll have to check.

Individually, they are very much pleasures. The only things I operate while drinking, however, are a pool cue or an Xbox controller.

Guilty pleasure? What guilty pleasure?

Yes! I’m not the only one!
I have heard a great deal about that particular Strawberry Blonde; so much so that I really, genuinely want to try it. The problem is that it’s only locally available - I can’t get it in mid-atlantic area.

I have not heard that song. I just heard the Bad Blood one, though. It's catchy. My wife would literally lock me out of the house for bringing home a Strawberry Harvest Lager, though. I think you're on your own with that one.

I have been debating buying the latest TSwift album seeing as how every single I have heard has been pretty damn great. You’re making sure that I try this damn beer aren’t you? Fine, I have to run to the liquor store at lunch anyway. I’ll pick up one if they have it.

Come on out we’ll go to the brew pub. It’s about 15-20 minutes from my house. Or there’s some in my fridge right now LOL.
Where are you in the Mid Atlantic Region?
Oh, and yeah your not the only one. She’s nerdy, and I don’t think she’s the hottest around, but she has a way of making her voice sounds awfully sexy. Definite guilty pleasure music.

She’s a talented musician in her own right, and a very good lyricist. In my opinion, she deserves the accolades she’s received. Having grown up on classic rock and metal, however, listening to pop music just seems so odd sometimes due to how very different it is. And now I might go out and buy the album.
And yes, I am trying to get you to drink that beer. I didn’t think I’d like it, especially after having come off of a Pale Ale streak, but damn is it good.

It’s cool, I’m used to sitting on the porch and drinking one by myself. I heard a great new term for doing something by yourself that made me laugh - “masturdating.” I know I’m an old curmudgeon, but my little cousin cracks me up sometimes with stuff like that.

Yinz are all wrong about fruity summertime beer. It needs mango.

I’m in the MD/DC/VA area. There’s a shit ton of great beer everywhere around here, but some styles are still tough to find. My very first beer was a Strawberry Blonde way back in the day, and I’ve had a soft spot for them ever since. Finding a good one, however, is next to impossible; most of them are terrible, and that kills me considering that if done well, they can be great beers.

I... I’ve never actually heard of that before. As a beer guy, I’ll try just about any kind of beer.

It’s quite delicious, for what it is. If you’re a beer-snob, you won’t even try it. Approach with an open mind and be rewarded, however.

I’m totally a craft beer snob, but I also believe that all beer is a craft of one kind or another, and that it all has it’s place. I also enjoy trying all kinds of different things, from light lagers to Double IPAs to Meades. Except for Bud Light Lime. I just don’t get Bud Light Lime.

Yeah the ABC Strawberry Blonde is probably one of my all time favorite beers, it’s also a double lol, so high proof.
You can get them in Growlers for the ride home haha.
I only asked because at the end of the month I’m driving to South Carolina, was wondering if I could drop some off, but that’ll prolly be too far out of the way.

I’ll be honest, I’d try it, but I soooooooo wish they made bottled water.

I grew up on music of nearly every flavor (dominant sounds in my parents house growing up? Bluegrass), and since I have gone through phases of nearly worshiping both Madonna and Kylie Minogue, acknowledging that I like TSwift (or that I like Lady Gaga), is pretty damned easy.
(side note, driving with the windows down and jamming out to Lady Gaga, Erasure, or Tswift does get me some funny looks... especially thanks to my DD - but I’ve never really given a damn about the opinions of others who I don’t know, or who would judge me based on my musical tastes =).

I’ll try some soon! I love Abita Amber!
